Turkey & Cranberry Mini-Burgers
A savory, protein-packed treat with a hint of holiday flair — and the smell that'll have your pup parked in the kitchen all afternoon.
The holiday table goes to humans, but the kitchen counter belongs to the supervisor. These mini-burgers are protein-packed, gently sweet from the cranberries, and exactly the kind of thing your pup will smell from three rooms away. We make them for Thanksgiving morning so everyone gets a little something.
Ingredients
- ½ lb lean ground turkey
- ¼ cup finely chopped cranberries (fresh, or unsweetened dried)
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup oat flour
How to make them
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine the turkey, cranberries, egg, and oat flour. Mix thoroughly until everything is evenly distributed.
- Form the mixture into small, bite-sized patties — about the size of a quarter for small pups, or a little bigger for larger dogs.
- Place the patties on a lined baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the patties are cooked through and lightly golden.
- Let cool completely before serving.
