Frozen Berry Paw-sicles

Three berries, one blender, and a freezer full of the cutest possible treats. We make these on the hottest afternoons of summer, when nobody on the porch wants to move and a little something cold makes everyone feel better. Bonus points if you have paw-shaped silicone molds — but ice cube trays work just as well.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup blueberries
  • ½ cup strawberries, chopped
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt (unsweetened)
  • ¼ cup water

How to make them

  1. Add the blueberries, strawberries, yogurt, and water to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into silicone molds (paw-shaped if you have them) or standard ice cube trays.
  3. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until solid.
  4. Pop the paw-sicles out and serve as a refreshing reward.
Keep them happy
Store in an airtight container in the freezer — they'll keep for about a month. Best served on hot days or after active play. Always use plain unsweetened Greek yogurt; the flavored varieties usually contain xylitol or added sugars that aren't safe for dogs.
